He posted a link to an opinion piece about that statement and wrote, "I wouldn't hold my breath."
Clinton made the comment in question on November 22, telling radio host Hugh Hewitt, "Nobody's actually been to see me. I see Democrats all the time, and nobody has said 'Hey, I'm going to run,' or 'I'm thinking about running, give me advice now,' because it is too soon."
The Washington Examiner editorial shared by Trump Jr. suggests the lack of people asking for guidance could also be because "why would anyone seek campaign advice from the woman who lost to a former reality show host?"
