Imran Khan appears before ATC, dubs Nawaz Sharif as ‘Sultana Daku’ 25 NOV 2017

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said he is appearing before the courts so that institutions are strengthened in the country.

Talking to media on the occasion of his appearance before Anti-terrorism court, he said, “We want institutions to get strengthened; In contrast, Nawaz Sharif is debilitating them.”

He added, “However, an attempt was made to enervate the institutions by lodging a case against me. A terrorism case was framed against me over political protest. ”

Imran Khan remarked his parallel cannot be drawn with Nawaz Sharif it is as though “I am being compared with Sultana Daku”.

“I cannot be more humiliated than this comparison,” he said.

Imran Khan said the court gave Nawaz Sharif full opportunity to account for the money he transferred abroad; however, Nawaz Sharif had no answer.

The PTI chief said he is the only Pakistani after Quaid-e-Azam who brought home his money that was earned abroad.

He also censured the lawmakers who aborted the Opposition attempt at the floor of National Assembly against a legislation allowing a disqualified person to lead a political party.
