Trump Proposes A 'Fake News Trophy' For The 'Most Dishonest' Media Outlet

President Trump is taking another aim at the mainstream media outlets.
President Trump attacked the media again in a tweet on Monday.
"We should have a contest as to which of the Networks, plus CNN and not including Fox, is the most dishonest, corrupt and/or distorted in its political coverage of your favorite President (me). They are all bad," Trump tweeted. "Winner to receive the FAKE NEWS TROPHY!"
He echoed similar thoughts on Saturday when he specifically targeted CNN.
"@FoxNews is MUCH more important in the United States than CNN, but outside of the U.S., CNN International is still a major source of (Fake) news, and they represent our Nation to the WORLD very poorly," Trump wrote. "The outside world does not see the truth from them!"
While Trump has repeatedly lashed out at major media outlets, he has credited social media for its role in helping him become president.
"I doubt I'd be here if it weren't for social media," Trump told host Maria Bartiromo in a Fox News interview. He added that through Twitter and other platforms, he's able to bypass mainstream media and reach millions of people without any filter.
