Former WH Photographer Shades Trump With 15 Time Covers Featuring Obamas

In the wake of the controversy involving President Trump and Time, Pete Souza shared an Instagram post showing many Time covers featuring former President Obama.

Former White House photographer, Pete Souza, on Saturday appeared to take a not-so-subtle jab at President Trump over the controversy surrounding Time magazine covers, reports The Hill.
Souza's Instagram post showed 15 Time covers featuring Barack and Michelle Obama, along with the message, "Someone has a lot of catching up to do."
He shared the list of covers (originally posted by @michelleandbarack) one day after Trump tweeted that he's passing on being considered for Time's 'Person of the Year.'
"Time Magazine called to say that I was PROBABLY going to be named 'Man (Person) of the Year,' like last year, but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot," Trump tweeted on Friday. "I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway!"
However, the magazine contradicted Trump, tweeting, "The President is incorrect about how we choose Person of the Year. TIME does not comment on our choice until publication, which is December 6."
Souza has become well-known for his tongue-in-cheek political jabs. In fact, Uproxx calls him "one of Donald Trump's most preeminent trolls."
