'Pokemon Go' Creators Raise $200 Million For Harry Potter Game

In preparation for its forthcoming augmented reality games, Niantic raised $200 million in capital from various investors and firms. According to the Wall Street Journal, the company raised only $30 million in capital prior to the launch of Pokemon Go. Last month, the company announced it was partnering with Warner Bros. to make a new augmented reality game based on the Harry Potter franchise.
