Russia pass law to mark media 'outside operators' after US clasps down on Putin-sponsored RT
RUSSIAN President Vladimir Putin has marked corrections into law that will empower remote media outlets working in Russia to be recorded as "remote specialists". Russia's Equity Service will settle on the choices on which outlets will be named "remote agents".The law now infers that media outlets delegated outside operators will be made to distribute a notice that their materials are given by a remote specialist, cover their exercises, submit data about the piece of their administration and give cost reports.The Russian Equity Service has beforehand said that it had told Voice of America, the Present Time supporter, Radio Free Europe/Radio Freedom and others that they might be incorporated into the remote specialists list.A Kremlin representative has expressed that any infringement against Russian columnists "should not stay unanswered". A month ago, Vladimir Putin undermined to hit back if the US attempted to crackdown on its media outlets in the country.The Russian President stated: "For this situation we will do it just in kind and very quickly."As soon as we see solid advances constraining the exercises of our broad communications, a blow for blow reaction will take after promptly."
