Indian skipper Virat Kohli who raised concern over the teams cramped up schedule has found the backing of former Indian skipper Sunil Gavaskar, who called upon BCCI to act on Kohli's complaint. Meanwhile former Indian opener Virender Sehwag suggested that Kohli should take some time off from the on going Sri Lanka series and Rohit Sharma should take up the captaincy duty. Acting BCCI President CK Khanna promised that the board will take Kohli's views with 'utmost seriousness'. Owing to time constraints, India will only get a two-day warm-up match in Paarl before diving into the Test series. The 3-match series is slated to begin on January 5 at Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town.
