Police detained seven protesters, including a lawmaker, during a rally to disrupt Black Friday shopping inside a St Louis, Missouri, mall. About 100 protesters turned out for the protest at the Galleria Mall on November 24, according to reports.Protesters marched through the mall and chanted slogans including, “Hey hey, ho ho, these killer cops have got to go” – in reference to police violence against blacks.Protesters were also rallying against bank loan practices and infrastructure neglect, and part of an economic boycott called by activists and clergy, according to local news media.Eyewitnesses reportedly said the protest was peaceful until police intervened.
