This is the funny moment a mother raccoon tries to gather her four babies after they were removed from an attic.

Despite the mother's effort to keep them all together, the curious babies keep running away from her as they explore the outside world for the first time.

"The babies had never been outside before so the antics soon followed. The confused babies didn't know whether they should run towards me or their mother," the filmer wrote online.

"Eventually she was able to corral them and they all began to follow her to a another den she had in the neighbourhood."
