Mateusz Gawron – VIII. GED drum playthrough (Wizard of Earthsea Triptych: 3/3)

Inventing the drums for the Ged song was quite a long process. Drum parts are like the song itself - aggressive, but also rich and colorful. The drum from the chorus does not seem at first glance difficult, but it is. Idea of double bass rhytmic solution I took from my drum lesson “Double Bass Drumming Exercises”.
Drums in guitar solo are very unusual, because it contains irregularity and is mainly based only on the snare, toms and double bass. This chaotic pounding is supposed to be a reflection of the fight that Ged had with his alter ego.
