President Donald Trump said on Monday that Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch should be suspended by the NFL after Lynch sat for the national anthem at Sunday’s game in Mexico City. Lynch among other NFL players have sat or kneeled during the National Anthem in protest of police brutality and racial inequality in the United States. NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy has said that they will not suspend Lynch who has sat during the anthem all season long.
