A firefighter was hoping to rescue a snake from being crushed by a fire truck when he was scared away by the angry reptile in the Ourimbah State Forest on Saturday, November 18.To the amusement of those watching, the snake put up a fight before the firefighter eventually managed to encourage it off the road and to safety.
