Hillary Clinton Says There Are Questions About The 2016 Election’s Legitimacy

Hillary Clinton recently suggested that the legitimacy of the 2016 presidential election has not yet been fully determined.
"I think there are lots of questions about its legitimacy...That's why I've long advocated for an independent commission to get to the bottom of what happened," Clinton commented during an interview with Mother Jones.
One aspect she specifically mentioned is voter interference, noting it, "seems likely that it cost me the election [in Wisconsin] because of the tens of thousands of people who were turned away and the margin being so small."
This is not the first time she's indicated the possibility that the election was somehow compromised.
In a mid-September interview with Terry Gross of NPR, Clinton said that she would not rule out challenging the election if Russia's involvement proves deeper than generally believed.
However, when asked what means she would use to do so, she responded, in part, "I just don't think we have a mechanism."
Meanwhile, President Trump has dismissed such remarks in the past as an "excuse" for losing the election.
"I have to say, the whole Russian thing is what it's turned out to be," Trump told reporters on October 25. "This was the Democrats coming up with an excuse for losing an election. It's an election that's very hard for a Democrat to lose because the Electoral College is set in such a way that it's very hard to lose that election for a Democrat. They lost it. They lost it very badly and very easily."
