'Special Place In Hell For People Who Prey On Children': Ivanka Trump On Allegations Against Moore

Ivanka Trump didn't mince words while commenting on sexual misconduct allegations against Roy Moore.

In an interview with the Associated Press that covered a range of issues, Ivanka Trump was asked about her reaction to the multiple sexual misconduct allegations against the Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore.
"There's a special place in hell for people who prey on children," she remarked. "I've yet to see a valid explanation and I have no reason to doubt the victims' accounts."
Other prominent individuals who have expressed similar thoughts include House Speaker Paul Ryan who said on Tuesday that the allegations are "credible" and Moore should "step aside."
Ivanka's father, President Trump, on the other hand, has been criticized for a less-forceful response.
"I'm dealing with the president of China, the president of Russia. I'm dealing with the folks over here," he told reporters several days ago during his trip to Asia. "So I haven't devoted – I haven't been able to devote very much time to it."
The day prior, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders had also issued a statement.
"Like most Americans, the President believes that we cannot allow a mere allegation — in this case, one from many years ago — to destroy a person's life," Sanders said. "However, the President also believes that if these allegations are true, Judge Moore will do the right thing and step aside."
Moore, however, has continued to stay firm, even as another allegation surfaced recently.
"An Alabama woman accused Roy S. Moore on Monday of sexually assaulting her when she was 16, the fifth and most brutal charge leveled against the Republican Senate candidate," the New York Times reported. "Senate Republicans are now openly discussing not seating him or expelling him if he wins the Dec.12 special election."
