Mekanon, developed by Reach Robotics in Bristol, UK, is a real-life smartphone-controlled robot that can confront enemies in the virtual world with augmented reality. Other modes allow you to play against other players equipped with the robot in the real world. The toy will set gamers back around £300 in the UK.
