Padmavati Controversy: The protest against Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Padmavati turned violent on Tuesday as members of Karni Sena vandalised a cinema hall in Kota. Karni Sena supporters went on a rampage and pelted stones at the theatre at Akash mall in Kota and vandalised property, shattering the windows of the cinema hall. The Karni Sena members can be seen in the video smashing glass counters and windows of Aakash theatre where Padmavati trailer was being played. Bhansali has even put out a statement, assuring viewers that there is “no interaction” between the actors playing Alauddin Khilji and Rani Padmavati, respectively.
