Dear Sacha sauda chief Ram Rahim who is serving a 20-year sentence after being convicted on two counts of rape is getting a VIP treatment. According to a convict who is out on bail, the Dera chief is enjoying VIP treatment in jail as a result of which the movement of the others is restricted. Ram Rahim was allowed to meet visitors for two hours instead of the 20 minutes given to other prisoners, Rahul Jain, the convict out on bail said. Jain also claimed that while the jail authorities claimed Ram Rahim was being kept in the same jail, the other inmates were sure that the disgraced godman did not fulfill assigned duties as they had never seen him. The allegations have, however, been rubbished by minister Krishan Lal Panwar. Media reports quoted him as saying that the distance between the barracks was such that others couldn't even interact with Baba Ram Rahim. Further Jain claimed that although the authorities say that he is in the same jail, nobody had ever seen him. Food is brought in a special vehicle, he also added.
