Earlier this year when the Indian team visited the Sri Lankan soil they dominated them in all the formats of the game and since then they have beaten the likes of Australia and New Zealand. Sri Lanka, on the other hand, isn’t looking so good. They just had a devastating tour in UAE against Pakistan even after registering a test series win against them. The team did defeat Pakistan in both the test matches but lost all ODIs and T20Is after that. They are looking forward for a change of fortunes with their tour of India and win back the respect. The aim of the team is going to be to sweep the series, a repeat of what India did to them on their home ground. The Sri Lankan side may be low on confidence, but the Pakistan win would have boosted their confidence, and let’s not forget, when in form they are a formidable team to face on the ground.
