Bill Gates has purchased 25,000 acres of land in Arizona, just forty five minutes west of downtown Phoenix. Gates reportedly is aiming to build a “smart” city which adopts all the gadgets of a modern technological society. The name of the community will be Belmont and the hope for Gates is that it will blossom into one of Arizona’s largest cities. The plans for Belmont include 80,000 residential units, space for public schools as well as office, commercial and retail space.
