26 Dogs Rescued From An Illegal Meat Trade In India

Animal rights activists in India were able to rescue 26 dogs from being slaughtered in an illegal meat trade.

The activists were tipped off to social media to an illegal operation in which the dogs were to be killed for human consumption. The difficult rescue mission took 48 hours, but was ultimately successful. So far, seven of the dogs have been adopted and the rest are receiving medical care.
