Shakira Spotted Outdoors After Cancelling Her ‘El Dorado’ World Tour In Europe

Shakira has decided to cancel her “El Dorado” world tour dates in Europe due to health issues.

Following the announcement, the singer was spotted being driven out of her home in Barcelona, Spain. According to the Daily Mail, she joined her loved ones for a brief excursion. “The Hips Don’t Lie” singer is seen sitting on the passenger seat after receiving a visit from her parents, brother and secretary.

The Colombian singer was forced to cancel her performance in Cologne on Nov. 8 after straining her vocal chords. The 40-year-old singer said that she wanted to perform for her fans in Paris in Nov. 10, but she once again unable to do so because she hasn’t recovered completely. Shakira also failed to perform in Antwerp on Nov. 12, and she won’t be able to make it to her Amsterdam performance on Nov. 14, according to People.

Towards the end of her letter, Shakira thanked her fans for their love, support and understanding. “God willing we will see each other soon for the kickoff of my tour,” she concluded. Promoters Live Nation is organizing a new schedule for Shakira’s concert dates in Europe.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time that Shakira had to cancel her live performances due to health-related issues. Last November, she was forced to cancel her tour to tend to her son, Sasha. At that time, Shakira did not reveal exactly what happened to Sasha, but she said that he’s “under control” and back to his cheerful self.

Shakira and her husband, Gerard Piqué, also have another son named Milan. Shakira and Piqué met in 2010 on the set of her song, “Waka Waka.” Last year, Shakira shared how she and her husband manage to spend some quality with each other despite their busy schedule. Piqué is a professional football player in Barcelona.

“It’s like being married to a soldier who doesn’t die in battles. He is pretty much anchored to Barcelona, and he can’t travel… They only get like a month off per year, but the rest of the time, he’s there training every day and playing matches,” she told Inquirer.
