She made the admission during a recent New York Comedy Festival event after an audience member asked her and former 'Saturday Night Live' cast member Ana Gasteyer if they "think it's actually possible to see a woman elected president in our lifetime."
Bee responded, "I feel so sad that you asked me that question 'cause I'm gonna give you my honest answer, and...it's gonna ruin everyone's night."
"I think maybe our first female president might be Ivanka Trump," she continued.
Gasteyer disagreed with her pick but acknowledged that a 'Real Housewife' could potentially fill the role one day. "I think this is all just about charisma and popularity," Gasteyer noted.
While Bee did express regret at choosing the first daughter, she did not appear to have explained her rationale.
The comedian did, however, seem to refer to Ivanka as "Heir to the White House Throne" in a clip of her show from April.
After pointing out the former businesswoman's inability to influence her father on important issues like climate change and her lack of policy expertise, Bee eventually said, "Ivanka is the nicest, smartest, best-smelling Trump. But mainly, she's the loyal Trump."
