"The honed gray limestone floor tiles almost feel like suede," says designer Laura Kirar of a 1940s-inspired master bath. "I laid them in a chevron pattern to add movement. It gives you the feeling of having a soft rug underfoot."

Emily Henderson says she was drawn to this unique and beautiful blue tile from Fireclay Tile. "That really set the tone for all other design decisions," she explains. "The scallop pattern is simple classic."

"If you're going to do color, why not go intense?" designer Erin Martin says. She set the pool house bathroom's sink atop a 1920s Turkish relief panel, surrounded by walls in vivid glass tile from Classic Tile & Mosaic.

MASCULINE DETAILS
