Thousands Attend March, Magnet for Right-Wing, on Polish Independence Day

Thousands of people joined the annual far-right Independence March in Warsaw, Poland on Saturday, November 11, local media reported.The event on Poland’s Independence Day has become one of the largest gatherings for white supremacists and far-right extremists in Europe, and has drawn participants from several other countries, The Associated Press reported.The march is organised by radical groups, including National-Radical Camp, the National Movement and the All Polish Youth. The slogan for this year’s event is, “We Want God”.Local media reported that a counter protest was also orgnised under the theme of “For Your Freedom and Ours”.
