Cambridge researchers studied whether sheep could recognize human faces. They were first shown a blank screen and a picture of a celebrity. A treat would pop out if they approached the celebrity. That image was then shown alongside a random person.
The sheep were able to identify the celebrity’s face 80% of the time. They join monkeys, dogs, and horses as among the few other animals known to recognize human faces.
