Footage has emerged of Barack Obama showing up at a downtown Chicago courthouse for jury duty.
The video, filmed on November 8, shows the US former president shaking hands with people at the Daley Center.
According to reports, he was dismissed by the judge without being called on to serve.
''I was called in for jury duty and Barack Obama was called as well,'' the filmer later wrote online.
''He took the time to greet and sign some books with me and other potential jurors,'' she added.
