During the 2017 World Surf League MEO Rip Curl Pro in Peniche this year Josh Kerr recalled his wild experience borrowing a 10'0 board from big wave surfer Tommy Butler and an inflation vest that didn't really work from a stranger to surf 20 foot Nazare last year.
