M-4 rifle recovered from terrorists, Army Chief say they are getting help from across the border

Army Chief General Bipin Rawat on Tuesday said that the recovery of M-4 rifle from the terrorists killed in Pulwama encounter makes it clear that they are getting support from across the border. One of the terrorists killed in the Pulwama encounter was the nephew of Jaish-e-Mohammad chief, Maulana Masood Azhar. One Army jawan was martyred and three terrorists killed in an encounter that took place at Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir on Monday. Major General BS Raju earlier confirmed that a M4 rifle recovered from slain terrorists. IGP Kashmir Munir Khan said that the joint operation between the Army, police and the CRPF was an "excellent one". Intelligence Bureau officials inform that the attack was carried out on the same day that the Centre's interlocutor, Dineshwar Sharma visited the state. Separatists and terrorists have been protesting against his appointment and have said that they would boycott peace talks.
