This koala, with the very imaginative name Boatie McBoatface, was rescued from Boat Harbour in Port Stephens. Despite having a broken leg from being hit by a car, Boatie was tucking into a huge meal of gum leaves with plenty of enthusiasm.Wildlife carers at the facility said Boatie was being kept comfortable while under veterinary treatment, but you wouldn’t know that he was under the weather, watching this video!Save the Koala lists cars as one of the main threats to koalas’ welfare.
