7th Pay Commission : Central employees still wait for hike in salaries | Oneindia News

Will government hike basic minimum pay of Central Government employees beyond the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission in the new year? The government had assured that it would look into the demands of the CG employees who have been waiting for good news on pay hikes. The big question is when will it happen. There has been a delay in the National Anomaly Committee meeting. Various sources indicate that the government wants this issue resolved by January 2018. There is no date that has been fixed for the NAC meet as yet. However if the government wants to go ahead with the pay hike by January, then the NAC will have to meet. Only once the NAC clears the proposal and suggests to the government can the pay hike be implemented.
