Labour activist describes suspended MP’s “revolting act”

Labour activist Ava Etemadzadeh described today how suspended Labour MP Kelvin Hopkins inappropriately hugged and “rubbed his crotch” on her after attending a speaking function in 2014 at the University of Essex. Ms Etemadzadeh said she felt “powerless and isolated” and “shocked” to see that Mr Hopkins was later promoted to the shadow cabinet after making complaints to the leader Jeremy Corbyn.
