FBI "Cross Country" Operation Recovers 84 Child Trafficking Victims

A nationwide FBI sting operation resulted in the arrests of 120 child sex traffickers.

84 young victims were rescued in the sting, which involved hundreds of FBI-led agencies. Agents raided hotels, casinos, and truck stops, and targeted online forums.

The operation, dubbed "Cross Country," has been conducted every year to target sex traffickers and their underage victims. Since 2007, more than 6,500 children have been rescued.
