Two-year-old shaves head in solidarity with cancer-suffering grandma

Heartwarming video of a two-year-old boy getting his head shaved to show solidarity with his grandmother who was diagnosed with breast cancer.

The footage, captured on October 4 in Denver, shows the toddler giggling whilst on his uncle's lap as he gets his head shaved.

''My mom was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer about two-and-a-half years ago. She is currently in remission but now puts on an annual fundraiser to raise money for the Day of Caring (charity) foundation,'' the uncle later wrote online.

''When my brother and I told my nephew we were going to shave our heads to show support for our mother, he said he wanted to support her.

''He hopped up on my lap, and had a smile on his face the entire time he was getting it shaved.''

''I know it was a small gesture but I'd never seen a bigger smile come across my mother's face.''

''I am extremely proud to call this guy my nephew and godson,'' he added.
