After Ashish Nehra retired from all three formats at the Feroz Shah Kotla, Yuvraj Singh poured his heart out in an emotional post on Facebook, calling Nehra a true friend and his retiring as an ’emotional moment’. Yuvraj also shared many old memories with the 38-year old. Among other things, he revealed that Nehra was given the nickname of ‘Popat’ by Sourav Ganguly as he used to talk a lot. "He can talk even under water!" He also described his first meeting with ‘Ashu’ and said ‘he was like a cat on an extremely hot tin roof’. For more info watch video!!

भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के तेज गेंदबाज आशीष नेहरा ने फ़िरोज़ शाह कोटला मैदान पर आखरी मैच खेलकर अपने अंतरराष्ट्रीय करियर को अलविदा कह दिया. युवराज सिंह ने नेहरा की विदाई पर काफी भावुक होगये और फेसबुक पर एक पोस्ट लिखी. पोस्‍ट में युवराज ने लिखा है कि अपने भाई आशू के बारे में पहली चीज यही कहूंगा कि वो एक बेहद ईमानदार इंसान हैं.. वो दिल का बहुत साफ आदमी है. मेरे लिए वह हमेशा आशू या नेहरा जी रहा, एक मजेदार इंसान जो ईमानदार था और कभी अपनी टीम को झुकने नहीं देता था.युवराज ने लिखा कि मैं अंडर 19 के दिनों में उससे मिला था. वह हरभजन सिंह के साथ कमरे में रहता था. मैं उससे मिलने गया तो एक दुबला, पतला लड़का देखा जो सीधा खड़ा भी नहीं हो पा रहा थावह एक पल बैठता और अगले ही पल स्‍ट्रेच करता या आंखें मटकाता. मुझे ये बड़ा मजेदार लगा. इस पोस्ट पर फैंस ने इमोशनल होते हुए अपनी प्रतिक्रियाएं दी.
