Homemade Chocolate Syrup

Stop paying for store bought. Its easy to make your own! \r

The recipe below is the full recipe. Use this if your making enough for many people, or want extra to last for a while.\r
If you only need a little, cut the recipe down, or follow me as I make the smaller recipe in the video.\r

Homemade Chocolate Syrup (Full Recipe) \r
\r
3/4 cup Cocoa Powder \r
1 1/2 cup Water \r
2 cups Sugar (granulated, caster, or superfine white sugar) \r
1 Tbs Vanilla extr or essence \r
1/2 to 1 tsp Mint Extr (optional) \r
1/4 to 1/2 tsp salt (optional) \r

Place water in a pan on the stove top, and bring to a boil. \r
While waiting for that, whisk together the cocoa powder, the sugar, and the salt if using it, in a mixing bowl. \r
When the water reaches a boil, pour into the cocoa-sugar mixture, and stir in until the mixture becomes very smooth. \r
Add the vanilla, and the mint if using that. Mix until well combined. \r
Chill for approximately 30 minutes before using. \r

For chocolate milk: \r
Add 2 or more tablespoons of the chocolate syrup to a glass of milk, and stir until well mixed. \r
