Formerly built around a lost castle, this village is located on the RN196 halfway between Propriano and Ajaccio at the foot of Mount "San Petru" which rises to 1400m above sea level. Do not miss : The convent of St. Francis and his Christ carved wood, the Church of St. Nicholas, rebuilt in 1870, many houses "master" of the village with their architectural details, the Taravo Festival (mid-July) gathering events and workshops around the Corsican culture, the Dolmen of Settiva, the genoa bridge of Abra, visible from the RN 196 a few kilometers after the village towards Ajaccio.
