How to make a cosy nest box bed for your hamster out of cardboard.\r
They stopped selling these at the pet store, so I decided to make my own, with the addition of a base and lid that flap open for easy cleaning.\r

Its important to use clean cardboard and a glue thats both non-toxic and water-soluble so that its safe to chew. e.g. PVA glue, Elmers glue, school glue, or a flour-water mix.\r

Since it is cardboard, it is not a permanent hideaway and will need to be replaced when it gets smelly or over-nibbled, but theyre quick and easy to make\r
