It happened during the Uk pavilion at Expo new inside Shanghai, this sculpture designed by Thomas Heatherwick houses 250,000 separate seeds from corresponding unique plants at the end of 60,000 acrylic rods which project from the walls of the strange building. The cost was 25 million pounds, however, this arctethtual marvel earned the top stop winning the BIE gold award for best pavilion design of the entire year. The Kew Gardens Millennium Seed Bank Partnership has intentions of collecting 25 percent of the worlds plant species by the year 2020. This living structure embodies the Expos theme of Better City Better Life as it rooted digital dreams in the soil from which all life is born. A truly innovative designed building with a unique, possibly groundbreaking take on the preservation of our worlds future. \r

4 - Montreal Biosphere \r
Located on the sunny shores of the Canadian coastline known as Saint Helens Island, is this daring beauty of a building, the Montreal biosphere, its ually just a museum dedicated to the environment, but a good start in the right direction at least. From the Pavilion of the United States world fair expo of 1967, this unique geodesic dome involves a complex system of shades used to control its internal temperature. This innovative structural masterpiece offers interive ivities and presents educational exhibitions about the major environmental issues related to water, climate change, air, ecotechnologies and sustainable development. \r

3 - Seed Vault\r
The Global Seed Vault can be found on a Norwegian island just a little over 800 miles from the North Pole. Conservationist Cary Fowler, as well as the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research, began this vault in order to preserve a wide variety of plant seed samples to be held in gene banks worldwide. The Norwegian government funded this crazy structure of world preservation for approximately 9 million dollars. This massive seed bank has been operational since 1984 and today there are more than 10,000 seed samples available for immediate duplication, in the case of a worst case scenario. The Global Seed Vaults mission is to provide a safety net against accidental loss of diversity in traditional genebanks providing backup for the worlds 1750 seed banks which store agricultural biodiversity.\r

2 - Infinity Tower\r
This skyscraper of the future, designed by South Korean innovators has plans to house observation decks, atheatre, a fully functioning roller coaster, luxurious housing complexes and even a water park. This 1476 foot tall building already under construction plans to be the first ever invisible skyscraper. Specially designed strategically placed camera will capture the surrounding areas and project this mirror image onto screens which will cover the outside of the elaborate building, there will also be a super high-tech LED system in order to help create the invisibility illusion for this massive engineering undertaking. This building currently under the early stages of construction is also billed as the third highest observation tower on the entire globe. This gigantic structure is a true marvel of architecture, engineering and innovation, meant for housing as well as a bustling hotspot for visitors as a thriving tourist attrion, the Infinity Tower has begun construction near South Koreas International Airport.\r

Plans for this amazing buildings construction are scheduled to begin in Rotterdam inside the Netherlands within the next few years. This Dutch Windwheel is proposed to be a dynamic energy generator as well as a completely self-sustainable building which will also house 72 apartments, a Ferris wheel, a hotel and 40 rotating cabins. This bladeless wind turbine will also gather solar energy from the sun and hydro-generated energies from an underwater foundation. The conceptual design of this exemplary structure threatens to take eco-friendly tourism for the Netherlands to a whole new level and though this construction promises to take years to complete, permits and planning have already sparked a renewed interest in this motionless turbine which promises to power itself as well as provide additional power for the city of Rotterdam.
