Giant wild mushroom spotted in southwestern China

An enormous wild mushroom was found in a forest in Tengchong County, Yunnan Province, China.

In the video, captured on October 22, curious villagers can be seen taking pictures of the unusual find.

An 81-year-old man named Liu Dingsheng found the mushroom in the forest when it just broke out the soil, however, he says it grew to this size in only three days.

Based on preliminary identification, it is an edible mushroom called Tricholoma giganteum.

It has been protected by fences to avoid artificial damage and it be evaluated for the World Gunniess Record of the world largest wild edible mushroom.
