Apples to Apples Freestyle is a fun family or party game that expands on the original Apples to Apples game by letting you write your own answers. Apples to Apples Freestyle- is for ages 12 and up- which seemed a little strange to us. We imagined it more of a game for kids. Or a game for adults. Where it gets difficult is when you have kids and adults mixed and you cant always use that clever answer that is the first thing to pop into your head. We thought that for playing with kids the original Apples to Apples game might be better- the one with the pre-printed response cards. Still- a fun party game.
