VTR: I am Murat from Azerbaijan. I would like to hear your thoughts on the Khojaly Massacre.
ADNAN OKTAR: Khojaly Massacre was perpetrated by the professional killers of the British deep state with the aim to severe the ties between Turkey and Azerbaijan. Besides, one can clearly realize this by taking a look at the map of the region. It is a cowardly massacre -actually cowardly would be an understatement-, a brutal, barbaric massacre perpetrated by deep state gangs and orchestrated entirely by the British deep state to severe the relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. And to impede a possible alliance between Armenia and Turkey, and by extension, the unification of the Turkic states. At the time, our 650 Azerbaijani brothers and sisters were martyred while many more lost their lives due to severe torture, May God rest their souls. In fact, many Azerbaijanis were burned to death; the eyes of many more were found to be gouged, while some were beheaded. This is obviously a common method employed by the British deep state. Only professional killers are capable of such atrocities. An average Armenian would not find it in himself to commit such deeds as he would fear God. Armenians would never do such a thing; they are a compassionate people. Eye gougings, beheadings and extensive torture all suggest the involvement of professional killers. A normal person is incapable of such deeds. It is impossible for an Armenian to commit such atrocities. The Armenian people are entirely well-mannered, polite, decent and benign. I am sure you have many Armenian acquaintances; would you think any of them are capable of such a thing?
Such villainy is only perpetrated by the killers of the British deep state. Thus, they lay the foundations of a dispute that may last a century. The tension generated by the martyrdom of 650 Azerbaijanis has been ongoing for a long time now. So, what did they achieve? First of all, they prevented a possible restoration of the Turkish-Armenian relations. Secondly, they have boosted the strength of the PKK, because such intimacy between the two states would gravely impair the PKK's strength. They prevented our unification with Azerbaijan as well as several other Islamic and Turkic states. The act itself might seem relatively insignificant, but from a broader perspective, but it has major implications. The British deep state engages in such provocative activities very often. For example, ISIS and the PKK have proved very fruitful for them. And the Khojaly massacre was perpetrated by a small group.
