At the age of 17, Jake and Zane Robertson left their family in New Zealand and moved to Iten, Kenya in pursuit of becoming world class distance runners. Training among the best in the world and living the lifestyle told in so many gold medal stories, they began to chase their dreams. Many runners have made the trip to the running mecca, but very few non-Africans have fully immersed their lives in the culture the way the twins have.
