Day 62: Today we are doing the stunning Mangawhero Forest Walk in Ohakune on Mt Ruapehu! It’s part of our 365 Days: 365 Activities daily travel vlog!
About this video:

For our final day in Ohakune (for now), we have decided to do the beautiful Mangawhero Forest Walk at the base of Mt Ruapehu!

The Mangawhero Forest Walk in Ohakune is just at the beginning of the Ohakune Mountain Road. The Mangawhero Forest Walk is an hour loop walk through the stunning native forest. We’ll teach you a little bit about what to expect in a native New Zealand forest along the way.

At the end of the Mangawhero Forest Walk in Ohakune, we hit the road to our next destination: Taihape.

So what do you think of the Mangawhero Forest Walk in Ohakune? Is it a track you would do in Ohakune?
