Chip and Joanna Gaines Would Come Back to TV in a 'Heartbeat'

Don’t worry, Chip and Joanna Gaines would come back to TV in a heartbeat.

The house-flipping duo was speaking to the Today Show about ending their hit HGTV series, Fixer Upper, saying their work on the program ended up being exhausting and they’re excited to take a break.

They also said they’re going to focus on the thing that’s most important to them – their relationship.

But they would be absolutely open to returning to TV in the future.

Or as Chip put it – in a heartbeat.

The interview comes in the wake of news that the couple were quitting the show just to negotiate a better deal… because HGTV is owned by Scripps, which is in the process of being sold to Discovery Communications.

And once that sale is finalized, the Gaineses will sign on to a whole new deal.

But spokesmen for the couple denied the report.

Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
