Best build in the game, period, on Death March, NG+, level 80+ for patch 1.3+ Blood and Wine. First video on Youtube with 120k+ strikes, legit! 11k HP / Unlimited potions / Whirl or Rend playstyles. Build explanation below:\r

Enjoy, friends!\r

Swords: Belhaven (or Toussaint Steel Sword)/Aerondight (Gesheft runner up) Use Severance with both swords if you are using Whirl or Rend. Hen Gaidth has a lv98 req but is also the best.\r

KEEP IN MIND that your build may have to look different as you level up and optimize it as you get more ability points. Focus on the core abilities first (as described below) and then work into the other mutations. If you are going Rend, just swap out Whirl for Rend and all the fast attack mutations for their strong attack variants.\r
\r
Heres an on-going FAQ, but first the biggest question:\r
\r
Im a lower level, what should I use?\r
\r
A: You can only gradually build up to a build like this. It is an endgame build showing you the potential of things to come. However, I worked up towards this for a while and optimized things as new items and ability points were brought in. The game has a very long and satisfying power curve, so let that motivate you to become stronger and enjoy the process!\r
\r
My recommendation, though, for earlier parts of the game and levels is to focus on getting the Whirl, fast attack damage mutations (two of them), synergy, acquired tolerance, heightened tolerance, killing spree, and tissue transmutation. Couple this along with using the Ursine swords which are by far the best swords--as they have crit damage--before Blood and Wine content. Also, get those greater mutagens as fast as you can and couple them with similarly colored mutations. With this youll be doing a lot of critical damage, be able to run at least two decoctions (depends on how many formulae you have) and therefore have a good bit of HP. If you cant get your HP high enough, or have troubles with dodging enemies and cant sustain your health, switch to a strong attack setup with Archgriffon decoction + Ekhidna. Youll be getting vast amounts of HP with each stamina-driven strong attack. Also keep in mind Ekimmaras benefits scale as your damage scales as its heal is based off 10% of your damage done.\r

Additional FAQs:\r
\r
1. Where do you get Belhaven blade?\r
A: heres a video showing you how: \r
\r
2. Why the fixative mutation?\r
A: I use it because you only need one oil for your steel sword--hanged mans venom. Therefore it lasts forever, even when Whirling down dozens of bandits at a time, which tend to eat up charges fast. Yet, if 50 charges is enough for you, consider using Protective Oils which gives you damage reduction from the targeted enemy class, or you could swap that out for a red mutation to empower a red mutagen, giving you more attk pwr.\r
\r
3. How do you freeze enemies?\r
A: Its a bomb called Northern Wind.\r
\r
4. What are some other potions/decoctions that are handy?\r
A: Chort (prevent stagger/knockdown), Blizzard (slows time down and makes stamina not deplete after an enemy is killed for a little while; great for Rend/Whirl spams), Alghoul (to get adrenaline points faster at the early part of an encounter.\r
\r
5. Whirl eats adrenaline, so I dont like it\r
A: It only eats adrenaline if you continue to use it once your stamina is depleted. This change requires more thought from the Witcher to determine when to use and stop using Whirl.\r
\r
6. Why metabolic control? Isnt a red mutation better for more attack power?\r
A: At a certain point, stacking on more attack power becomes trivial. Sure, its always welcomed, but toxicity is the most important stat for us (if using Euphoria) as that means more sword damage--which is better than attack power--and more potions and/or decoctions and their benefits. For example, 30 points of toxicity could be a full heal (10k+) from a Raffords potion and 22.5% more sword damage (.75 x 30).\r
\r
Playstyle: I call this the Witcher Build as it plays along the lines of a true Witcher: oils, decoctions, potions, and the sisters of steel and silver. You have to know your enemy, and you will be rewarded with insane amounts of damage.\r
\r
The goal: get the most toxicity, crit damage, and crit chance as possible. We do this by increasing our toxicity cap, and then chugging potions and decoctions--which all give us small benefits themselves--but, most importantly, inter directly with Euphoria, giving us more sword damage.\r
\r
All this toxicity adds up: currently, I can get up to 236% more sword damage due to this, which is crazy when its based off Aerondights sword damage which increases its damage by 10% for each charge. Toxicity becomes the
