Rare Albino Echidna Spotted in Tasmanian National Park

A couple spotted a rare albino echidna inside a Tasmanian national park on October 9, one of a very few captured in a photo or video according to a zoology specialist.Rosalind Wharton said she spotted the creature while walking through Freycinet National Park with her husband. She said in a radio interview with ABC Hobart that she quickly realized she was watching something special.ABC reported this echidna had features that distinguished it from the more common blonde echidna, including blue eyes and pink snout.
