The 30,000 -odd spectators at Rajiv Gandhi international cricket stadium were expecting cracker of a contest between India and Australia. Instead, they were left disappointed with the T20I series decider getting called off due to wet outfield, despite no rain in this part of the city.

ഇന്ത്യ-ആസ്ത്രേലിയ ട്വന്‍റി20 പരമ്പരയിലെ അവസാന മത്സരം മഴ മൂലം ഒരു പന്തുപോലും എറിയാതെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു. ഇതോടെ മൂന്ന് മത്സരങ്ങളുള്ള പരമ്പര 1-1ന് സമനിലയില്‍ അവസാനിച്ചു. റാഞ്ചിയില്‍ മഴയില്‍ കുതിര്‍ന്ന ആദ്യ മത്സരം ഇന്ത്യ 9 വിക്കറ്റിന് ജയിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഗുവാഹത്തിയിലെ രണ്ടാം മത്സരം 8 വിക്കറ്റിന് ആസ്ത്രേലിയയും ജയിച്ചു.
