Las Vegas police dispute six-minute gap in shooting response
  • 7 years ago
The timeline of the Vegas shooting continues to remain clouded by conflicting police reports. On Friday, Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo claimed that gunman Stephen Paddock did not wait six minutes in between shooting security guard Jesus Campos and shooting at the concert. One timeline suggested Paddock shot through his hotel room door at Campos at roughly the same time he shot into a crowd of 20,000 concertgoers at the Route 91 Harvest Festival. This timeline matches with the account given by the hotel operator. This would confirm there was no delay in police response. Of the 546 injured in the shooting, only 45 remain in critical condition. 58 people were killed and Paddock shot and killed himself.
