Debt-ridden man smashes ATM

Footage has emerged from China of a man smashing an ATM in frustration as he could not pay back a £40,000 debt to the bank.
In the CCTV video, shot in Yancheng in north Shanghai's Jiangsu Province on September 29, a man walks into a bank with a bag and takes out a claw hammer to smash an ATM.
After that, he sits on the floor to have a cigarette until the police come.
According to local reports, the man known only as Cai called the police himself and gave himself up.
Since Cai was addicted to gambling and couldn't repay the huge debt, he smashed the ATM to relieve his feelings.
Cai was arrested by police.
