what are the different cuts, what they are called and finally how to do a tourne. this is classic French culinary technique teach to young cooks in France.
Remember that the smaller form of tourne can be done with carrots and turnips as well. But most important at the end of the day is that it is quite simple to do.
All you need is a paring knife and some potatoes. the more you do it the better you will get at it. like I always say practice makes perfect.
